〈假象〉

 

它在海上，看來閒適自在，彷彿放假，

但其實它在日月浮沉，風高浪急之間工作。

 

 

Illusion

 

It drifts upon the sea, seeming at ease, as if on holiday.

Yet truly it labours unceasingly, working between the rise and fall of sun and moon, amid the tempest, where waves surge and winds are high.

 

 

幻影

 

海に浮かび、たおやかに憩ふごとし。

休みに見ゆれども、日は昇り沈み、月は盈ち虧け、風荒び、波猛るあひだに働けり。
