The cake is the moon of men,
The moon is heaven’s cake.
Clouds drift by so lightly,
Light flows on so silently.
Whether I lift my gaze,
Or bow it low,
It is only to seek the circle whole.
俯仰の間に
餅は人の世の月、
月は天の餅。
雲はそっと流れ、
光は静かに移ろう。
仰ぐとも、
俯くとも、
ただ円満を求めるのみ。
