彗星乍現，
帶著久遠，
又有新奇。
玄夜因此劃開一線，
射出遙想的光芒。
古人曾見，
後人將見。
然而那一道光，
每一次都，
似初見，
似重逢。
天上斗轉星移；
人間風捲塵滾。
記憶易碎，
心事易改。
有些光回來了，
我們卻不記得它曾經來過。
人生之中，
有多少初見，
實乃重逢；
有多少重逢，
誤作初見？
它沒說什麼，
只是遠遠來，
又靜靜去⋯⋯

A comet slips into view,
carrying ages,
carrying wonder.
The dark sky parts a single line,
releasing a beam of distant imagining.
The ancients once saw it.
The future will see it again.
Yet that one streak of light,
every time,
feels like a first sight,
feels like a return.
Above, the stars keep turning;
below, the world keeps scattering in dust.
Memory is fragile,
heart-thoughts easily altered.
Some lights come back,
yet we no longer recall
they once passed us by.
In a lifetime,
how many first sights
are truly returns?
And how many returns
are mistaken for first sights?
It said nothing—
only came from afar,
and slipped away in silence…
初見と再会
彗星がふいに現れ、
遥かな時をまとい、
かすかな新しさを帯びる。
深い夜はひとすじ裂け、
想いの光がそっと射した。
昔の人も見た光。
やがて未来の人も見る光。
けれどその軌跡は、
毎たび、
初めてのようで、
再びのようでもある。
天には星がめぐり、
地には風が塵を巻き上げる。
記憶は砕けやすく、
心は移ろいやすい。
戻ってきた光さえ、
かつて通り過ぎたことを
思い出せなくなる。
人生には、
初見こそ再会であることがあり、
再会こそ初見に見えることもある。
彗星は何も語らず、
ただ遠くから来て、
静かに去っていった――。
