是非功過，

只要國人得以隨心毀之罵之，
說者不需瞻前顧後，
聞者不用懲前毖後，

He walked amid shifting winds and clouds,
his merits and faults
endlessly debated.
I wish to say nothing.
Yet in truth—
so long as people may freely reproach and scold him,
with speakers not needing to guard their words,
and listeners need not treat such speech as a caution for themselves,
nor proceed in fearful restraint.
