他似乎在放空，
又似乎在想昨日的事，
在心裡的那條長河漂流、漫溯。
一念起，一念落，
思緒就這樣悄悄地流走了。

Mind Like a River
.
He seemed adrift in emptiness,
yet perhaps was dwelling on yesterday—
drifting, tracing upstream the long river within.
A thought arises, a thought subsides,
and so the current carries his musings away in silence.
神思は川のごとし
彼はただ虚ろに坐すようで、
あるいは昨日を想うているのか—
心の奥の長き河を、漂い、遡る。
一念は湧き、一念は沈み、
そのまま静かに、想いは流れ去 っていった。
