三昧真火照臨四方；

必然難以直視。
而真心，
早掩藏在那片看不清的光裡。

At the height of day,
its samadhi flame burns across the four directions.
Yet in human eyes,
it becomes nothing but a pale white ring
hanging in the highest heaven.
So it is with the world:
what burns the strongest,
what shines the fiercest,
is destined to be unseeable.
And the truest heart
has long hidden itself
within that blinding, unknowable light.
日輪
日は天のまんなかにあり、
三昧の炎が四方を照らす。
だが人の目には、
ただ白い虚の一輪が
九つの天に懸かって見えるだけ。
世の理とは、まさにこれ。
もっとも強く、
もっとも熱く、
もっとも直視できぬものこそ、
まことの心を、
あの見えざる光の奥へと
早くから隠してしまうのだ。
