忽然，
烈焰衝天而又熄滅，
塵土飛揚而又落下。
掩埋，沉積，深藏。
如今，
餘溫已冷，香氣早散。
只剩歲月的餘味，
隱約在杯口繚繞。

The Goblet
.
It once overflowed with drunken dreams
beside the wine ponds,
and kept company
with the dancing shadows of the flesh.
Suddenly—
flames rose to the heavens, then died;
dust surged, then settled.
Buried, layered, hidden deep.
Now,
the warmth is gone, the fragrance long faded.
Only the aftertaste of time remains,
faintly swirling at the rim of the cup.

酔いの夢を池に溢らせ、
舞う影を林に伴う。
やがて、
烈火は天に衝きて滅び、
塵は舞い上がりて沈む。
埋もれ、積もり、深く秘められ。
今は、
温もりも去り、香りも消え。
残るは時の余韻、
盃の縁にほのかに漂う。
