A stroke of shadow, a cluster of light,
like clouds with the wind, like tides with the moon.
Within opposition, balance slowly appears.
Claws and limbs, a dance of the Dao;
ink on white, the breath of heaven and earth.
力比べ
一抹の影、一団の光、
雲と風のごとく、潮と月のごとし。
対立のうちに、やがて均衡あらわる。
爪も足も、天道の舞をなす。
白紙と墨は、天地の息をつぐ。
