〈貓島〉

 

靜看著臺灣島的地圖，卻發現小貓咪的剪影：

島如貓，山成紋。

獨坐不語，遠望有思。

 

 

Cat Island

 

Gazing quietly upon Taiwan’s map, I glimpse the silhouette of a gentle cat:

the island its body, the mountains its stripes.

Silent it sits, gazing afar, as if lost in thought.

 

 

〈猫の島〉

 

静かに台湾の地図を眺めれば、小さな猫の影が浮かぶ。

島は猫の身、山は縞。

ひとり黙して座り、遠くを見つめ、思いにふける。
